I bought a used amp from this place. The service was awesome!

Item arrived just like it was described. It was meant to be delivered to my home, but there was a mix-up, so that didn’t happen as expected. However, Hifisound shipped it through a courier, and it still got here on the same day as intended. Awesome service and price! Definitely recommend if you're looking to upgrade.

I was looking to move up from my Magneplanar 1.7i's to the 3.7i's. Since I had previously purchased the 1.7i's from Hifisound and was really happy with their service, product expertise, and quick delivery, they were my go-to choice. I traded in my 1.7i's for a fair price, which sealed the deal for me. I made my first inquiry on a Monday, placed the order for the 3.7i's on Tuesday, and they showed up on Wednesday, all the way in Central Scotland!

I knew they were pretty big and that putting them together wasn’t exactly a solo task, but I was totally taken aback when the delivery guy insisted on setting them up for me! I definitely couldn’t have managed that alone! Turns out, the 'driver' was actually one of the co-owners of the business! Had a really fascinating chat with him... what a great guy. Big thanks to Hifisound!

HIFISound ~ totally nailed it !!! - I recently took my Technics 1200 mk2 in for a little repair, and when I picked it up, I was eager to test it out. I got it home, cranked up the sound system, and discovered a small issue, which turned out to be my fault!!!. The inexpensive "Tracking Force Gauge" I had purchased (not being an audiophile, I didn’t know any better) was way off. I called HIFISound to report a sound issue and the repair, and they connected me with the engineer who worked on my Technics. After I explained the sound problem, he calmly advised me to increase the tracking force on the tonearm, and just like that, the issue was fixed. [You know what they say: buy cheap, buy twice - or better yet, let the pros handle it]. I've learned my lesson and truly appreciate their honest, skilled, and straightforward service, which is hard to come by these days. I won’t hesitate to use them again in the future......

I called up Stephen at 3:30 to ask about a Rega Planar 2 and the A2D, and by 5:30, the gear was at my doorstep (I live nearby).

I can't recommend this hi-fi shop enough; the team was fantastic to work with, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

I just dedicated over 2 hours testing various speakers with my amplifier. The staff were super attentive, really well-informed, offered great prices, and there was zero pressure to make a purchase - not to mention a lovely cup of tea! This has become my go-to HiFi shop.

All inquiries about sales and technical specs were responded to promptly. I was kept updated on the order's status, and it arrived well-packaged with fast delivery to the UK.

I’m quite let down... They don’t ship internationally, even though they claim otherwise. Here’s what they say: INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We provide competitive rates that can be verified via email. Just reach out – we’ll need a complete delivery address and a phone number. Smaller items are sent using Royal Mail Small Packets Airmail with International Tracked and/or Signed, depending on the item's value and service availability. Bigger international shipments go out via insured and tracked services like DPD, DHL, or UPS. If there are any hold-ups due to customs rules or whatever, you’ll hear from Turntableworld or the courier asking for more info. Customs duties don’t apply for shipments to any EU country (check the EU Country List for details). However, customs duties might hit for countries outside the EU. Folks in those places are on the hook for all taxes and duties when the items arrive. It’s just not consistent at all.

I found the best deal online for what I was looking for, it was packed nicely, and the delivery was super quick - I placed my order at 2 PM on the 4th, and it showed up by 10 AM the following day! Big thanks to HiFi Sound!
